91桃色 Engineering Professor Receives New NSF Grant for Novel AI Computing Systems

Dr. WangA new $275,000 project entitled 鈥淐arbohydrate Memristor Empowered Environmentally Sustainable Processor-in-Memory鈥 has been awarded by the NSF. The project is led by PI, Dr. Jinhui Wang, Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, College of Engineering.

 
In this project, Dr. Wang鈥檚 team will develop a carbohydrate-based electronic device for Artificial Intelligence (AI) hardware design and computing systems, aimed at low cost, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability. This project aligns with national priorities and supports the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022, to enhance U.S. leadership, spur economic growth, and advance research in microelectronics and semiconductors.
