South to Host Annual Holiday Concert

Performers from every part of the 91ɫ department of music will bring “Joy to the World” at the University’s annual Holiday Concert, scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert is free and open to the public. Complimentary holiday refreshments will be served following the show.
Featuring traditional and modern arrangements of holiday favorites, the concert includes performances from the 91ɫ Concert Choir, University Chorale, 91ɫ Wind Ensemble, 91ɫ Opera Theatre, 91ɫ Piano Duo, 91ɫ Clarinet Ensemble, Celtic Crúe, 91ɫ Trombone Ensemble and the 91ɫ Steel Band. The Jaguar Marching Band will continue its tradition of closing the evening, this year with a full-band performance of “Christmas Festival” and “Sleigh Ride.”
Free parking will be available in the following lots: Mitchell Center, Gamma, Humanities and Mitchell College of Business. Handicapped parking will be available in the Mitchell Center lot. JagTran will provide round-trip transportation between parking lots and the Mitchell Center before and after the event.
