Your University Retiree Benefits
- A retiree Identification Card will be provided to gain access to University of South
Alabama events and programs.
- Use of the University facilities to include University and Biomedical Libraries, and
the Student Recreation Center (with applicable membership payment).
- Retirees will be granted two free admissions with a valid retiree ID card, based on
availability, to ticketed single game athletic events to include, but not limited
to:
91ÌÒÉ« Basketball games
91ÌÒÉ« Baseball games
91ÌÒÉ« Softball games
Excludes all NCAA postseason events and South Alabama Football. - University retirees will receive a discount on the purchase of season tickets matching
the current 91ÌÒÉ« faculty/staff discount rate for football, men's basketball, women's
basketball, baseball and softball.
- Free parking hang tag for vehicles owned by the retiree.
- A 10% discount on select items at the 91ÌÒÉ« Bookstore.
- Coverage for the retiree and their eligible dependents under the University of South
Alabama Educational Benefit Program continues for the life of the retiree, if the
retiree was eligible for this benefit at the time of retirement.
- Discount on many non-credit Continuing Education courses and certificate programs.

- Eligibility to participate as members in the 91ÌÒÉ« Federal Credit Union.
- A retiree and one guest may be admitted at the faculty rate for admissions to music
performances at the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center. Many recitals and concerts require
no admission fee.
- As a privilege, a retiree of the University General Division may request a retiree University e-mail account, subject to approval by the University.
